Last semester I took an intro to TeX course, and for my final project, I started a program that would convert a WordStar file into a TeX file. The idea was to introduce math symbols into WordStar (probably by way of dot commands). I ran into a lot of problems, and only got a couple of things working on it. I was wondering if it was worth my time to pursue the matter any further, or is there either a.) something already out there to do this, or b.) a reason why it's not a practical venture. There is a program called WSLTEX (WordStar to LaTeX) which converts Wordstar files to LaTeX. I've never looked at it, so I don't know if it handles math or not. The idle and curious may obtain it from ymir.claremont.edu in [anonymous.tex.utilities.wsltex] -dh -- Important note: The Anti-Social Committee will not be meeting this week.
