[comp.text.tex] bibliography style

ccsupos@prism.gatech.EDU (SCHREIBER, O. A.) (03/23/90)

I am using the following styles to write a thesis report:
\documentstyle[12pt,romanneg,verbatimfiles]{report}
\bibliographystyle{alpha}

I have seen four options in the LaTeX guide about
the
\bibliographystyle
command: plain,unsrt,alpha,abbrv
I like the `alpha' option but would like to have entry
labels formed with the full name of the author instead of the
abbreviation:
[Knuth66] instead of [Knu66]
Is there anybody who has managed to do that?
Thanks.
