The ACM journal is also available in a hypertext form for both PC's and the 
Macintosh.  

I'd also recommend Edward Barrett's

-- "Text, ConText, and HyperText: Writing with and for the Computer", 
MIT Press, Cambridge, Mass. 1988

-- "The Society of Text: Hypertext, Hypermedia, and the Social Construction
of Information," MIT Press, Cambridge 1989.

These books are based on the Conference on Writing for the Computer Industry
that Barrett holds each Summer at MIT.
