My thesis is getting a bit out of hand and I think I need a bigger version of OzTeX to process it. I do not have the developers workbench so I am wondering if some kind soul out there could compile me a bigger OzTeX 1.2 and send it to me by BinHex and Stuffit. I am using a MacII with 2 meg (actually virtual 8 meg) of memory and a big hard disc. I am coming with problems with only 2500 multiletter control sequences. On my unix machine this is set at 3000. I have not been able to alter this in my Oztex build file. Please mail me if you can help and I will make sure any effort is not duplicated. Thanks in advance Chris Morrow

(I tried to send mail, but murdu.oz is unknown to my machine.) Increasing OzTeX beyond 2500 hash size has been discussed before, and it would not be easy. These numbers (2500 and things depending on it) are not symbolic constants in the source. If you find someone who will do this, I would also be interested. Walter Carlip (c3ar@zaphod.uchicago.edu) was the last one I discussed this with. -- Gerald A.
