[comp.text.tex] What should be my first clue?

Could someone please tell me what I might notice on the Copyright page
that would tell me, "Yes, you hold in your hands a copy of latest revision
of the TeXbook."  Ditto for the METAFONTbook.  When might I expect to have
this experience in my local bookstore?  Thanks
