To those to sent help, thank you. The consensus for a reasonably fast dvi previewer for my AT&T 6300 was dview31. I've tried it out, and it seems pretty nice. However, I have two problems with it so far. First, it can't use the at&t 400 line graphics mode; whenever I try to specify it with the -dt option, it says it can't find the terminal type 'T'. My guess is that it's trying to autodetect the Toshiba T3100 display, and whatever the autodetect routine is for the T3100, it doesn't work for the AT&T. Actually, according to Borland, the AT&T display card cannot be distinguished from a CGA by software. The other problem is that the characters are too tall and thin. What options do you use to shorten them? Thanks. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= - David M.
