I've just fixed the change file bug. Apologies to all those who couldn't get the files during the maintenance time. If your copy of the change file does not have a version number of 3.1a, you have a defective version and should get the new change file. -dh --- Don Hosek "When I was younger, I would throw dhosek@ymir.claremont.edu spitballs at girls that I liked. Now, dhosek@ymir.bitnet I beg and plead for dates. Frankly, the uunet!jarthur!ymir old way was more satisfying."

Since I don't have PASCAL 4.0, I got tex.obj and linked it, but I can't get it to work. The problem described above sounds suspiciously like the problem I'm having. (When I try to run TeX it "can't find" any format files, even if I specify one explicitly, and when I try to run IniTex it "can't find" tex.pool.) Does ymir.claremont.edu:[anonymous.tex.sources.tex3_0]tex.obj contain the necessary changes? Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone else in the same situation gotten TeX running? - Mary
