have posted this question before but got no replys, don't know if the problem was too dificult or indeed not possible. I'm writing a thesis with latex that has chemical structures drawn with Pictex. What I would like is too use some sort of label similar to that used for keeping track of figure and table numbering to do the same for the chemical structures that pictex draws. Is this possible to do? How? any help would be great. thanks in advance tony scott ascott@gara.une.oz.au
