I have been using sbtex (version 2.9) for some time and find it a very
nice implementation. But I now need a version of tex that can \dump large
.fmt files. So, are there any public domain/shareware versions of TeX for
MS-DOS that can \dump a full sized .fmt file (e.g. lamstex)? From what I
have seen none of DosTeX, sbtex or emtex can do this. The only Dos
implementation that can (that I have seen) is PC-TeX which is a commercial
product. I would imagine that such a program would have to use some sort
of extended/expanded memory scheme. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
