I recently downloaded the DVIDJ (DeskJet / DeskJet Plus) and have experienced some problems. I have a 256k mem cartridge installed. The problem is that after the first page has printed, subsequent pages no longer use the correct fonts. The font that is selected is the default courier (if I have no other font cartridges installed) or HELV 12 pt (if I have the HELV Q cartridge installed). The result is rather garbled looking, I assume, because the DVI driver maps TeX font characters differently that ASCII. But the paragraphs, and titles, etc. in the correct location. The bottom line is, has anyone used the program yet? And has anyone had this problem? Or does anyone have any suggestion? I am able to use DVISELEC to break my DVI files into single pages, and print pages one at a time with the DVIDJ program. The output is very nice looking. But this process is extremely time consuming because the fonts are downloaded for each page. I downloaded the program from pacific.mps.ohio-state.edu, and it was written by James Krause. I have tried to get in touch with James Krause, (the documentation supplied his e-mail address), but the postmaster at his site has indicated that he has left with no forwarding address. Anybody know his where-abouts? James ..are you listening.? ------- |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Christopher J. M.
