I have been trying to find a program to convert dvi files to ascii. I need it to send text, such as resumes, to people without TeX or who don't want to bother with TeX. The conversion utility should take a dvi file and out put the basic formatted tex in either ansi or simple control character free text. I would appreciate it if anybody could direct me to such a utility. I do have ftp capability and this is my prefered method of aquiring files. Thank You, Erik Johannes erikj@unmvax.cs.unm.edu

It is not perfect, but reasonable. You can FTP it from sol.cs.ruu.nl [131.211.80.5], file pub/TEX/dvi2tty.shar. -- Piet* van Oostrum, Dept of Computer Science, Utrecht University, Padualaan 14, P.O.
