Hi! I wanted to be able to print latex .dvi files to an epson lx-800 printer, so I grabed dvieps.arc from simtel and proceeded. AArggh! The program crashes, and then any DOS command just says 'out of memory'. Reboot. Try again. Crash. Check memory: got 1024K on a 640K AT?! Then I saw that the program has generated a output file, probably truncated, but it may print the first pages. I tried to print it. Got lots of white paper and some '#%$&^^%&*' on it. Has someone experienced this kind of trouble? Does anyone have the source of the program? Does anyone have another program that works? I would apreciate all help I can get. Technical information: I have an AT-386SX with 640K+364K extended (Over the 1Meg) and an epson lx-800, a 9-dot matrix printer. I tried MS-DOS 3.3 and 4DOS 3.01a. Both crashed with the same error. No TSRs loaded other than KEYB.COM to change my keyboard to Portuguese. ---- Antonio Julio Raposo (ajr@cybill.inesc.pt - LISBOA - PORTUGAL) -- Antonio Julio Raposo (ajr@cybill.inesc.pt - LISBOA - PORTUGAL)
