First of all, thanks to all those (and there were lots) who sent me mail about PD versions of TeX for the PC. There were too many to reply to indivually, so if you replied, please accept this as gratitude! The overwhelming majority recommended emTeX, so I'll try that first. Now I would like to know: is there an AMSTeX for the PC? I suspect this might just involve having appropriate format and font files. If so, can I take them from any implementation? I monitor this group, so replies here will be OK, if you think others would benefit from such.
