I am not able to print output from dvi2ps, dvialw and similar dvi->postscript conversion programs in my IBM Pageprinter 4216 model 020 laserprinter. The problem is that after printing every page, the printer returns with an error message that the page format is incorrect; it continues printing the next page after being reset. The page format has been set correctly to A4 format, and there are no problems when printing ascii files or Postscript files produced by other programs. Only the dvi file translation programs give problems. I assume that the problem is due to variable setting in the Postscript header files. Has anyone experienced similar problems in using the IBM Pageprinter? I am in particular interested in the solotions for the dvi2ps (MIT version) and dvips (Radical Eye Software version) programs.
