YAQ(Yet another Question) for all LaTeX gurus: On page 167 of Lamport's LaTeX "manual" is says: If the natural width of of the label is greater than \labelwidth, then the label is typeset in a box with its natural width, so the label extends further to the right than "normal" But when I'm using large labels in my items, this does not happen. The output looks real gross: Instead are the label sticking out on the left side. whilest the right side is flushed to the first allinea, which is not indented at all. ( this should happen to give room for the label ). Question: Did I interpet the manual wrong? If not so, what's wrong and how do I get it fixed?! If I did misinterpet the manual, Is there a list-env. which does align the label correctly on the left margin of the outer env?
