SPACEPAC, the L-5 society's political action committee has alerted L-5
members to an upcoming Presidential decision; the most significant one
since Kennedy committed the nation to a manned landing on the moon.
Apparently, in Reagan's cabinet there is serious debate whether to
commit to a manned space station, or even a station and a permanent
lunar base.
In the mailgram I received, Mark M. Hopkins, L-5's Legislative Action
Coordinator calls upon all of those who favor such developments to
write five letters in support. These letters will probably not be
read, but only counted -- so they can be as short as one line. Send
