We recently installed the Northlake version of TeX for VMS on our VAX 8800, and now we're attempting to get output off our spooled Xerox 3700 (running in PostScript mode). We're trying to use DVIALW (DVI to Apple Laser Writer) to make the DVI into PostScript, but we're encountering a rather odd error: pages "print" on the Xerox, but no text appears! Rules (used for seperators and table box lines) appear, but no letters, numbers, or symbols. The output looks fine when it is ftp-ed to a PC and printed (via a LocalTalk card) on a genuine Apple LaserWriter, but clearly the problem with the Xerox 3700 needs to get resolved. Thus, my question is this: are any of you running a DVI-to-PS converter on a VMS system which yields output acceptable to a Xerox 3700?
