I know I've seen posted questions a few times before regarding
DVI drivers for 24-pin LQ-style Epson printers, and I've patiently
awaited the posted answers each time, but nobody has posted one that
I've seen (perhaps the answers were e-mailed). My need wasn't as
great then, either, so I didn't pursue. But now, I would really
like to find out the answers to the questions:
Does there exist a publicly available DVI to LQ-style (24-pin
printer) driver, or at least something close to start from?
And, if not a public or free driver, what others might exist?
Specifically, I have an LQ-800. I've looked on many of the TeX-
related archive sites, but didn't find anything that close--unless
I have missed something.
This is only a low-budget, personal item for my home system, other-
wise, obviously, I'd go out and buy a laser printer. My plan is to
run TeX & LaTeX on my 286 Microport (unix) system. Thanks much!

PS: TeX/MF runs trip & trap fine on a Cray X-MP! Perverse, I know.
