The subject line says it. My local Computer book store has the TeX book, but has never heard of LaTeX. Any pointers to a source (mail order would be good) would be appreciated. It does not cover two-column printing nor does it explain the difference between one and two column figures or tables. It is a good companion to the "real" LaTeX book, LaTeX User's Guide and Reference Manual Leslie Lamport Addison-Wesley Publishing Company, 1986 Lamport write LaTeX (Lamport's TeX).
