G'day, I am looking for a dvi to NEC P7 printer driver that supports the 360dpi mode on the printer. Could somebody indicate a ftp site that carries it. Reply via email is preferred. Thanks in advance Kevin.

In the file dvitools.tar.Z on ftp.win.tue.nl (anonymous ftp) one can find 3 drivers, with a makefile for SCO Xenix 286 and a makefile for most other unixes (32bit). - dvi2ps: a rather old version, but it works on a 286. - dvi2nec: driver for NEC P5,6,7,9 and compatible printers. uses pk fonts (360dpi). does not know about specials. - preview: previewer for SCo Xenix 286 (EGA) and Unix sVr3.2 (EGA, VGA and VDC-600 with AT&T Unix). The file does *not* include fonts. (but you can easily generate them with metafont) Enjoy! Paul. (debra@research.att.com)

You could try: terminator.cc.umich.edu where the EmTeX stuff is loaded. Another place is eba.eb.ele.tue.nl (131.155.2.25) That's were I'm at. you want to look in /pub/tex/emtex.new/... for all kinds of nifty stuff. Just out of my background memory: You'd want either disk 2 or 3 for the printer-drivers. But an index can be found on disk 1. Ciao Willem Jan Withagen.
