[comp.text.tex] Do you know these macros?

neubauer@bsu-ucs.uucp (Paul Neubauer) (09/15/90)

I have now built a number of the WSU IPA fonts from ymir (Thanks again) and I
was about to try to read the documentation (printing which requires the fonts).
I started to run it through TeX and immediately got:

	! Undefined control sequence.
	l.2 \asisformat
	               {\skipbefore{6pt}
	? x

It turns out that IPAMAN.TEX, the documentation for the WSU fonts contains a
number of macros that I do not recognize. They are not LaTeX, nor do they seem
to be AMS macros (at least they do not show up in the index of {\it The Joy of
\TEX\/}. I have no idea where to get them or what they are. Does anybody
recognize a macro package or whatever that contains the following?

\asisformat#1
\labelformat#1
\rhf
\sfs#1#2#3
\cl#1
\lil1
\subheada
\bd
\aib
\aie
\nin
\asisbegin
\asisend
\pb#1
\lin#1

I imagine that I might be able to guess what some of them are supposed to do,
but some of them are rather obscure from the context and I would rather just
find the original package that this file was intended to use, and in any case,
it would probably be nice if we could add that information to the archived file
so that in the future, people won't have to wonder. Thanks.

These are from the TEXT1 system also from WSU.

See TUGboat, 11, 1, page 54.
