I have recently obtained OzTeX from tank.uchicago.edu and I must say that in the main the program is excellent. However, I was a little disappointed at the quality of the preview mode. When viewing the documentation in ozuser.tex, for example, I zoomed in so that the text would just fill the width of the window. The text at this point was certainly large enough to read but the quality left much to be desired. I thought that perhaps I had failed to install all the fonts but on checking this with Page Info I found that in fact all the necessary fonts were present. I am using OzTeX on a Macintosh Plus with 4Mb of memory. I would be grateful if someone could confirm that this is normal behaviour for OzTeX or else suggest what I may be doing wrong. By the way, does TeX 3.0 include any new functionality or is it just a bug fix? Also, is there any news regarding OzTeX 1.3? Thanks again to all those who contributed to the writing of OzTeX... we the users are very grateful!
