A friend of mine in Germany (without access to Usenet) is trying to set up a Kyocera P-2000 laserprinter so that it can be used both in Postscript and HP emulation mode; in particular, they want to use it for Macintosh output and TEX output. (Right now, they're using an older version of dvijep, but are not very happy with it.) He has the following questions: 1. Is there a DVI-driver for the Kyocera P-2000 printer in HP+-emulation mode (this HP-emulation is slightly different from HP) and how is it available? 2. Is there a DVI to PostScript converter which uses PK-fonts (not GF-fonts like dvi2ps)? If there is somebody out there with helpful information, could you please contact Josef Schneeberger (TH Darmstadt, West Germany) XIISJSCH%DDATHD21.bitnet or send it to me kurfess@icsi.berkeley.edu and I'll forward it. Thanks a lot Franz Kurfess
