I know that TeX was recently updated to 3.0, but is there a new version of LaTeX also? If so, is there an updated version of the LaTeX book also? -- Transcendentalism is all very fine, | Craig Steinberger but how does that relate to what | SUNY at Buffalo, CFD Lab You see in the subway? | craig@fractal.eng.Buffalo.edu

new distributions of TeX should now contain a slightly changed
lplain.tex. no other changes are necessary for it to work with 3.0
There *is* a new LaTeX on the way, but thats entirely separate from the
TeX 3.0 changes.
