Recently I used MACDRAW in MAC II to draw a figure and then transfered the figure to our unix machine(MIPS) and used 'bbfig' program to find the bounding box of that figure. We have 'DEC LPS20' and 'Apple Laser Writer' printers for printing PostScript files. I met couple of questions. Question #1, the coordinates of bounding box in Apple Laser Writer seemed all right. But the coordinates of bounding box in LPS20 are not so correct. The 'bblly' and 'bbury' exchanged, i.e., the correct bounding box should be "bbllx bblly bburx bbury" but the LPS20 printed "bbllx bbury bburx bblly". ^^^^^ ^^^^^ Question #2, If I used the default font 'GENEVA' and put some characters in the figure, then the 'bbfig' program did not work in either LPS20 or Apple Laser Writer. Can anyboy over there tell me why and how I can fix those problems. Thanks a lot in advance.
