[comp.text.tex] Wanted: index with SliTeX

Hi there,

I am looking for a way to generate an index from a collection of slides
that I have produced with SliTeX. Since these slides were produced for
a (LaTeX) course, an index would be of great help. 
Is there a simple way to do this?
The normal LaTeX-routines (\makeindex, \index{...}) won't work
with SliTeX. Has anyone solved this problem before?
