I remember some one asked how to print addresses on envelopes using TeX. I think the peel-off lable solution is useful for printing a lot of frequently used addresses but is not desirable for a casual letter. I would like to introduce a emTeX + HP laser Jet + Knuth's letterformat solution. As you know the letter format in Knuth's book enables one to print a letter and a lable. emTeX has the control over which pages to print (/b* and /e* options). And HP Laser Jet can be set on landscape mode and portrait mode. And a combination of these features provide the solution. One can set Laser Jet to be on landscape mode and insert the envelope and print the lable page only using prthplj. And then one set Laser Jet to be on portrait mode and print the regular letter. Isn't it easy?
