I want to use BibTeX 0.99's `crossref =' feature to save lots of repetition in my bibliographies - and only that. Unfortunately, btxdoc.tex tells me that if I use this feature, BibTeX automatically puts the [cross-referenced entry] into the reference list if it's cross referenced by two or more entries that you \cite or \nocite. Is there any way I can turn this off?
