Hi Gang! A good friend of mine posed the following interesting problem. I'm sure that everybody has seen typeset tables in which alternating rows are shaded in, but so that the text is still very legible. Has anybody tried doing this with the LaTeX tabular environment (perhaps with the help of PostScript(tm)). Please email directly to me if you have an answer. I will post a summary.
