I have a couple of questions concerning formating in LaTeX. Any help would be appreciated. (1) I am producing a book (technical) where some parts consist of three column information. Since the text in these columns can be rather lengthy I am using the \parbox[t] function. Works great. However, at the top of each page where this formating is being used I would like to place column headers. These headers can vary when the three column format is used in other places in the document. The problem: How should I define these headers, and how do I know when a page break is reached so I can insert these headers. I am already using @oddhead and @evenhead for top of page formating (see (2) below). (2) I would like to create multi-line headers for my documents. I have played around and found that the \parbox appears to provide some of what I need. Question: Is this the right approach, or should I use a better one. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance. If people send me there answers I will be happy to post the results, if appropriate. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc Kuperstein (513) 865-1028 Mead Data Central Architecture & Systems Evolution P.O.
