Well i think i figgered out a MAJOR problem.
I do $tex texbook and get
This is TeX, C Version 2.95 (no format preloaded)
^^^^^^^^^^^^
Does this mean for some odd reason Our NEW sparc Stations have the OLD
outdated version of TeX.
and this old version may be telling me that errors occur because
I'm typing in examples from the 3.0 Texbook.
So I need to bug the sysop right.
