It looks much better, if you provide TeX fonts in the proper
magnifications. (I.e. something like 1/sqrt(2) times the standard
ones). There was a note on this in comp.text.tex some time ago (by Don
Hosek, if I remember correctly). Takes up some extra disk space, but
the results are worth it (what's an extra disk, if you can save a
tree's life)
