I was wondering if there is somewhere you can grab the TeX
distribution through ftp.
Is this software public domain?
Just need information.

There is a public domain version of TeX in the University of
LANCASTER Arcive. You can download that through JANET network if you
can reach England. There is a guest account under the name PDSOFT.
The Janet address is UK.AC.LANCASTER.PD-SOFTWARE (UK.AC.LANCS.PDSOFT).

Hope it helps
