Hi there,
I am using LaTeX to typeset tables with the \table and
\tabular commands.
I also want to footnote the table caption alphabetically AND those
footnotes to be placed just below the typeset table. As well
the body of the table will have alphabetical footnotes. The table body
footnotes must run on from the caption footnotes.
ie. say two footnotes are placed in the caption typeset as a and b
then the next footnote from within the body of the table should be
typeset as c.
I can get the table body footnotes to work no problem from within a
minipage but can not get the caption ones to work.
If I use \footnotemark\footnotetext{text} in tye caption I get the
marks but no text at the bottom of the table.
Any suggestions?? all replies greatfully accepted, and i'll post a
summary.
