[comp.text.tex] Size of \section number.

Dear netters,

The following LaTeX code will produce a default size "section"
number which is bigger than \normalsize.

	.
	.
\section{\normalsize\bf Introduction}
	.
	.

How does one do it so that LaTeX produces a "section" number
that is of \normalsize or any other user-specefied size.
