First I set some things up
\def\Bf{\shape{n}\series{b}\family{cmr}\selectfont}
\def\cmro{\shape{n}\family{cmr}\selectfont}
Then I start type--setting in Concrete
\family{ccr}\size{12}{15pt}\selectfont
I change to computer modern bold for something
{\Bf This is interesting ...
In the middle of this, I need a pounds sign, so I use
{\cmro \pounds} more cmb ...}
and the pounds sign comes up as $ in cmb.
In general if I say {\Bf blah {\cmro dah} blah} I get the dah
in \Bf not \cmro. Why ? Is this a feature ?
