I have a question concerning alphabetization in LaTeX/BibTeX. I have a .bib file containing several citations for each of the following names... Mann et al Matthiessen McClelland et al McDonald McKeown et al ... which I would expect to ordered in this way. LaTeX, unfortunately, intersperses the 3 articles by Mann throughout the other articles when it creates the .aux file. It looks like the last name of the co-authors is affecting the alphabetization process. What is going on here and can I do something in the .bib file to prevent it? I'm using \cite{*} to cite all entries. Thanks. Keith Vander Linden University of Colorado, Boulder linden@boulder.colorado.edu
