Questions about emTeX
I've just downloaded the full version of EmTeX from terminator.cc.umich.edu
and I've sucessfully installed it and had it running, but there is one
drawback. emTeX is lacking of a large amount of documentation, and although I
can operate TeX and DVISCR, I'm not familiar with making fonts and such.
I'm having all sorts of problems with magnifying fonts in TeX (I'm always
getting back font not found errors), and I need to know how to use MetaFont and
PKEdit to expand my selection of fonts, but there is little to be found to
describe how to use either of these programs. I've used TeX in a VMS system
and I've read the TeXbook a number of times, but I couldn't find any reference
in our bookstore on MetaFont or PKEdit. Where is a good plac to look for
instructions for these pieces of software? Are there more complete packages of
English documentation somewhere on the net? Or should I stick with another
version of TeX that was written in English first before I try to use EmTeX?
