I'm looking for any program that allows the use of citations "a la refer" in latex files. For the ones who don't know, in refer you put as a citation, any combination of words that occur in the bibliography entry and the system will give you the correct citation or a message that the citation is ambiguos. Jose Alberto. P.S.: Once somebody posted something about this. -- :/ \ Jose Alberto Fernandez R | INTERNET: alberto@cs.umd.edu :| o o | Dept. of Computer Sc. | BITNET: alberto@cs.umd.edu :| ^ | University of Maryland | UUCP: {...}!mimsy!alberto :\ \_/ / College Park, MD 20742 |

Jose Alberto. > P.S.: Once somebody posted something about this. The program TIB, which I believe is included in the UWash TeX distribution, performs the functions you desire. It works in a manner similar to BIB, a REFER alternative that appeared a few years ago. TIB may also be obtained (I believe)via ftp at june.cs.washington.edu in ~ftp/tex. -- Jeb Palmer School of Oceanography WB-10 University of Washington Seattle, WA 98195 jeb@u.washington.edu,jeb@dolphin.ocean.washington.edu
