[My apologies if this had been addressed by this mailing list before - I'm new. Therefore, a reference to an INFO-TeX archive would be great.] I'm writing LaTeX and BiBTeX styles and have come across an frustrating problem regarding the moving argument to \bibitem: How can you avoid printing any label beside the references (including the brackets)? An example: Instead of [67] D. E. Knudson. 1966 World Gnus Almanac ... OR [Knud 66] D. E. Knudson. 1966 World Gnus Almanac ... I want D. E. Knudson. 1966 World Gnus Almanac ... Is this possible? I've look about everywhere I can think of for the answer to this (short of source code, but I'd even be willing to tamper with that if I had to). Thanks, Darrell McCauley jdm5548@diamond.tamu.edu jdm5548@tamagen.bitnet
