[comp.text.tex] want a QMS driver for System V

Does anybody have a DVI-to-QMS for System V?  I am trying to avoid
hacking the Simpson BSD driver to run under System V; it could take
a long time to port.

Never mind ... I managed to hack all the BSDery out of the Simpson
driver, and it prints beautifully on our QMS.  Of course, having
circumvented our spooler's font manager I have totally confused the
printer, and am expecting our sysadm to show up any moment with a
chain saw.

After this I think he'll break down and buy a desktop PostScript
printer.  It's just a matter of putting pentothal in a few managers'
coffee cups so as to get their signatures.
