I would be very grateful if someone could shed some light on one or two problems that I am having with revtex. Firstly, the \pacs command does not seem to behave correctly. If I use: \pacs{Valid pacs appear here} I would expect something like 'PACS:' to be printed automatically, followed by the text and for the whole line to be suitably positioned. In fact, all I get is the text which is squashed up against the bottom of the abstract. Secondly, the vertical margins do not seem suitable for use with a4 paper. Since most of the contributed LaTeX style files seem to emanate from the US it would be useful to know in general whether the a4.sty style file is compatible with all of these. One final thing: I have tried creating the aip.bst bibliography style file using the physics.bst template and the cpp.el emacs C preprocessor but I get an error message saying that the file abbrev.bst is missing. What am I doing wrong? I even tried creating abbrev.bst first and then aip.bst which ran without error but produced a plethora of errors when I tried to use it with OzTeX1.3 on the Macintosh.
