Is it possible to configure LaTeX/bibtex to put a bibliography at the end of each, say, chapter in a book which covers only that chapter? I know of one style which tries to do this. It's available from the LaTeX style collection at sun.soe.clarkson.edu (and probably ymir.claremont.edu and a number of other sites as well).
