I need help finding information on the structure of dvi files. What I would really like to do is write a program that looked into a .dvi file and produced a list of pk files that would be needed to print the file. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, -joe

I was successful and now have a program that will list all the fonts and sizes of fonts used in a dvi file. I will email the C source if anyone is interested. Thanks again, -joe

Its also implemented in the dvitype program, which the questioner presumably has the source of?
