bed_gdg@SHSU.BITNET (George D. Greenwade) (02/09/91)
In my last post re: availablity of the ESSENTIAL (the three-part "Essential LaTeX"), I clearly boilerplated a description document (embarrasingly, from one I had posted earlier today). To get the ESSENTIAL package (3 files) use the MAIL a message with the command: SENDME ESSENTIAL in it to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET and not SENDME GENTLE, which is the 15-part "A Gentle Introduction to TeX". Below is the correct(ed) description of ESSENTIAL. George -- quite embarrased by it all......... ----------------------------------------------- ESSENTIAL --------- The ESSENTIAL package includes the files necessary to rebuild John Warbrick's "Essential LaTeX". To facilitate mailing, it is distributed in 3 parts, each labelled ESSENTIAL.Xof3. On receipt, simply extract the files, concatenate them in proper sequence, and LaTeX the file. You may retrieve the entire package of 3 files by MAILing the command: SENDME ESSENTIAL to FILESERV@SHSU.BITNET. Processing this document requires all 3 files, so this command is suggested. If, for some reason, you should only need one of these files, say number 2, use the command: SENDME ESSENTIAL.2OF3 in your MAIL message to FILESERV. Files in this package: (1 Block = 512 bytes) File Blocks Description ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ESSENTIAL.1OF3 30 Part 1, "Essential LaTeX" ESSENTIAL.2OF3 26 Part 2, "Essential LaTeX" ESSENTIAL.3OF3 30 Part 3, "Essential LaTeX"
