Yesterday I asked about the latest version of texinfo.tex. I would like to
thank everyone for the answers I got. Several people sent me mail asking for
the same information if I found the answer, so I am posting this:

This is version 2.13 of texinfo.tex. Apparently there are some higher version
numbers out there (being developed with the emacs lisp reference manual), but
2.13 seems to have fixed all the problems I was having, so for now it looks
like 2.13 is the way to go.
