Patch 11 of xdvi has just appeared on comp.sources.x. New features include more graceful handling of missing characters in fonts, ability to automatically search font directories recursively, a -keep option to match the `k' keystroke, and a modified mksedscript routine so that the man page comes out cleaner. For those who are wondering, xdvi is a TeX previewer which runs under the X window system (X11 and X10). You can get the whole release instead of just the patch via anonymous ftp from: expo.lcs.mit.edu [18.30.0.212] file contrib/xdvi.shar.Z or gatekeeper.dec.com [16.1.0.2] file pub/X11/contrib/xdvi.shar.Z --Paul Vojta, vojta@math.berkeley.edu
