I've been having problems with OZTeX and need some help. I've got some font files which I've downloaded from a VAX running VMS which I can't seem to get to work. Others which I've downloaded (including some astronomical symbol fonts and various logo fonts) work, but one these I get a "Bad font metric (TFM) file" error message from OZTeX. The version of METAFONT used to create the GF and TFM files was V1.7 (yeah, I know, stone-age). However, the same version was used to create other files which are perfectly okay. In case you want to know something about the fonts themselves, they are an incomplete (<128 characters) version of a cyrillic font of my own design, based on the computer modern fonts on which I've worked (off and on) for the last three years (although not much for the last two years). However, since some of these other fonts (especially the logo fonts) have less than 128 characters, I can't see that that's the problem either. Does anyone know of any reason(s) that these fonts might not work? ______________________________________________________________________________ Ed Bell | E-mail: Mail Code 933.9 | Internet - Bell@NSSDCA.GSFC.NASA.GOV National Space Science | Bitnet - Bell@NSSDCA Data Center | SPAN - NCF::Bell or NASA | NSSDCA::Bell or Goddard Space Flight Center | NSSDCB::Bell or Greenbelt, MD 20771 | NSSDC::Bell (301) 513-1663 | ______________________________________________________________________________ P.S.
