I attempted to typeset a note in the ransom font that comes with the tex82 distribution tape. But, the ransom-font files that I have are only the ransom10.300gf and the ransom10.tfm files. I don' t have the ransom10.mf file. When I try generate the ransom10.300pk file my gftopk program complains in the following way: Bad GF file: Unexpected 244 command between characters! The .pk file generated is unusable. Either the gf file is damaged or my gftopk program is damaged, or perhaps both. My gftype program seems to think the file is just fine. Please someone send me either the .mf file (first choice) or a valied .pk file. Uuencoding is preferable. Thanks in advance John Zavgren
