  Does anyone know of a program that will translate Latex files
into MS Word and viceversa ?

Word  --> LaTeX   - pd1:<msdos.tex>wd2latex.zip on simtel20 (this will
                    be in UK TeX archive soon)
LaTeX --> Word    - you better start reading the syntax of Rich Text
                    Format, and convert yr LaTeX to RTF
